How do I access mobile and/or online banking?

  • Download and set up the Macquarie Authenticator app. Macquarie Authenticator is our most secure and recommended verification method. Macquarie Authenticator allows you to verify certain transactions and account changes when you’re using both Macquarie Online Banking and Macquarie Mobile Banking app.
  • Download the Macquarie Mobile Banking app to access your accounts from your mobile device.
  • Log in to Macquarie Online Banking and/or Macquarie Mobile Banking to view and check your account setup. When you log in for the first time, you'll need your Macquarie ID and your mobile phone handy. You can find your Macquarie ID on your formal approval email and welcome email. 
  • You can customise the way your accounts are displayed on Macquarie Online Banking and the Macquarie Mobile Banking app.
  • Take advantage of some our great online banking features including PayID and Macquarie Marketplace. With Macquarie Marketplace you have access to discounts of up to 10% on eGift cards to use at more than 50 retailers.

How do I review and update my personal details?

The fastest and most secure way to review and update your postal and email address is through Macquarie Online Banking or the Macquarie Mobile Banking app. If you need to update your mobile number, please call us on +61 2 8550 5666.

How do I use my offset account?

  • If you have an Offset Home Loan facility, you can make payments into your offset account as frequently as you like, then have your monthly home loan repayment direct debited from the offset account. Every dollar you have in your offset account 'offsets' the balance of your loan - reducing the amount of interest you can pay each month.
  • If you have an Offset Home Loan facility, learn how home loan offset accounts can save you interest or open additional offset accounts.

How do I order and activate my debit card?

Activate your debit card for your offset account (if applicable) or order a debit card if you haven't received one. You can also refer to the instructions on how to set up Apple Pay or Google Pay.
