What is Macquarie Password Monitor?

Macquarie Password Monitor is a security service that actively monitors your login credentials (for example, Macquarie ID and passwords) from different internet sources. If you’ve activated Macquarie Password Monitor and it has been determined that your login credentials may have been compromised, we'll lock your access to Macquarie Online and Mobile Banking and notify you immediately so you can change your password or contact us to take extra steps to secure your account.

This service provides an additional layer of security, by detecting and informing you of potential threats to your login credentials. This service does not replace and should always be used in conjunction with good security and anti-fraud practices. Learn more about the ways to protect your bank account(s) on our Security and Fraud page.

Please note Macquarie Password Monitor is only currently available in Macquarie Online Banking and Macquarie Mobile Banking
