Enquiry authority allows a third party to have access to information about your account including your account data.
A third party appointed with enquiry authority will be able to view your account details (BSB, account number, and account name), account balance and transaction history.
Enquiry authority doesn’t allow the third party to make withdrawals from your account, changes to your account details or close your account.
Appoint additional parties on your cash accounts
You need to complete a Third Party Authority (TPA) form to appoint additional third parties on your cash accounts. There are two versions of the form:
- To appoint a Financial Services Professional or Company complete this form.
- To appoint another individual, complete this form.
Enquiry authorities added to your linked Cash Management Account (CMA) will be replicated onto your Macquarie Cash Management Accelerator Account (Accelerator).
In the TPA form, you can also appoint third parties with Limited Funds Transfer Authority on your Accelerator account. This allows them to transfer funds interchangeably between your CMA and Accelerator account.
