A payout figure is the amount required to pay out your home loan facility.

If you have a variable loan account, the payout figure is calculated two days before your discharge.
If you have a fixed loan account, the payout figure is calculated the day before your discharge. This allows us to determine any break costs. To learn more about break costs see Understanding costs of breaking your fixed home loan.
For home loans with a BSB starting 182, your payout figure is calculated based on the following:
Deposits into the home loan account received after the payout figure is calculated will not reduce your payout figure and will need to be returned to your direct debit account after discharge. If you don’t have a direct debt account on file, we’ll be in contact with you to determine the best way to return these funds.
For home loans with a BSB starting 183, your payout figure is calculated based on the following:

If you don’t have a direct debt account on file, we’ll be in contact with you to determine the best way to return these funds.
You will receive a final closing statement via your preferred method of communication or via post that contains your final payout figure within 1-2 weeks of discharge.
