How can I check the status of an application?

You can use our Broker Portal to keep track of in-progress home loan applications. Once you’ve registered your support staff, they’ll also be able to check applications.

All applications are shown on the application list page:

  1. On the home page, in the Your Application section, select View all your applications
  2. On the application list page, select the application you're interested in
  3. On the application page, the status will be shown on top of the page
  4. View all back channel messages (BCMs) and check any outstanding documents or clarification requests from our team.

How can I sort the application list in Broker Portal?

You can adjust how you view your applications - e.g. by active applications, applications requiring a broker action, or by status.

Registered support staff who are linked to multiple brokers can also search by broker.

How long does it take to assess an application?

Our current processing times are available in Broker Portal and on our website. For the fastest assessment, follow our guide on submitting a home loan, including tips to:

  • order a comprehensive credit report using AccessSeeker
  • order an upfront valuation
  • use NextGenID to verify your customer
  • use AccessSeeker to verify your customer’s liabilities and more.

Where do I access updates for my application?

Throughout your application lifecycle, we'll send detailed Back Channel Messages (BCMs) to you to communicate key updates including status, outstanding items, or queries.

Once we’ve received an application, we’ll also provide status updates via our Broker Portal. On the Your Application page, we’ll show a summary of statuses for all your in-progress applications. For more detailed information including a list of outstanding documents and queries, select the application from the list.

You’ll receive BCMs for application updates up until settlement.

Why hasn’t my application been worked on yet?

Most commonly, applications are pending due to missing supporting documents or other key items.

Log in to Broker Portal to view your latest status update, including any outstanding documents or queries from our team. You or your registered support staff will need to provide these in Broker Portal to progress your application further.

How can I withdraw an application?

To withdraw an application, you’ll need to contact us via live chat in Broker Portal. You’ll need your APP number and reason for withdrawal.
