Log in with Macquarie ID

Every user of the Macquarie Broker Portal will receive a unique Macquarie ID when initially set up. Your Macquarie ID is a unique eight-digit number that, along with your password and verification via Macquarie Authenticator, enables you to log into the Macquarie Broker Portal.

  • For brokers, you’ll receive your Macquarie ID in your welcome email when you’ve been accredited as a Macquarie broker.

For support staff, once your broker(s) has added you as a support staff in broker portal, you’ll receive a welcome email with your Macquarie ID.

Note: If you hold any personal accounts with Macquarie, please note that your Macquarie ID for the Macquarie Broker Portal is different from the Macquarie ID that you use to log into your personal banking account(s). All Macquarie IDs you hold, can be linked  to your Macquarie Authenticator app to easily verify your activities online.

Troubleshooting

  • You’ve previously been able to log into Broker Portal and now unable to receive the verification code to log in – you may not have been set up with your own Macquarie ID or your own mobile number. If you’re a support staff of a broker, check the credentials you are using and ask your broker if you’ve been set up as a support staff for them.
  • Using Macquarie Authenticator for multiple Macquarie IDs – if you already use Macquarie Authenticator for your personal banking or as an adviser, you can link your broker or support staff Macquarie ID to the same Macquarie Authenticator app on your phone.
  • You’ve received a request to verify an action in Macquarie Authenticator for Broker Portal that you didn’t request – this could occur if another user is attempting to log in to Broker Portal using your Macquarie ID. If you,
    • haven’t logged into Broker Portal or completed any other activity that would require authorisation, decline the action,
    • suspect fraudulent activity, decline the action immediately in Macquarie Authenticator and contact us to report the activity.

If other team members are using your log in credentials, to protect your business and your clients’ data, it is critical to ensure all support staff have their own log in credentials.
