View your payment agreements

You can view your payment agreements in the Macquarie Mobile Banking app or Macquarie Online Banking.

Macquarie Mobile Banking app

  1. Select the Pay icon from the home screen.
  2. Click on Payment Agreements to see a list of your payment agreements.
  3. Select the agreement you want to view in more detail. You can Pause, Resume or Cancel your payment agreements from here. 

Macquarie Online Banking

  1. Select the Pay icon from the side menu, or first click on the icon in the top left-hand corner to display the side menu.
  2. Click on Payment Agreements to see a list of your payment agreements.
  3. Select the payment agreement you want to view in more detail. You can Pause, Resume or Cancel your payment agreements from here.

Update payer details

You can update your payer details to an eligible Macquarie account or registered PayID at any time via the Macquarie Mobile Banking app or Macquarie Online Banking.

Macquarie Mobile Banking app

  1. Select the Pay icon from the home screen
  2. Click on Payment Agreements to see a list of your PayTo agreements
  3. Select the agreement you want to view in more detail. Click the edit icon next to the From account details
  4. Select the account or PayID you would like to pay from. Click Confirm
  5. Once you see the success page, your agreement is updated with the new payer details. Click Done.

Macquarie Online Banking

  1. Select the Pay icon from the side menu, or first click on the icon in the top left-hand corner to display the side menu
  2. Click on Payment Agreements to see a list of your PayTo agreements
  3. Select the agreement you want to view in more detail. Click the edit icon next to the From account detail
  4. Select the account or PayID you would like to pay from. Click Confirm
  5. Once you see the success page, your agreement is updated with the new payer details. Click Done.

Pause or resume a payment agreement

You can pause or resume a payment agreement at any time via the Macquarie Mobile Banking app or Macquarie Online Banking. Before you pause a payment agreement, you should check your contractual obligations with the business or merchant, and verify whether you can stop the payment temporarily until you resume.

Macquarie Mobile Banking app

To pause a payment agreement:

  1. Select the Pay icon from the home screen
  2. Click on Payment Agreements
  3. Select the agreement you want to review. Click Pause agreement
  4. You will see a confirmation page, please read the content carefully before you pause the payment agreement
  5. Once you see the success page, your agreement is paused. Click Done
  6. The agreement will appear with a paused status on your list of payment agreements. 

You can resume your payment agreement at any time by selecting the agreement you would like to resume and clicking Resume payment agreement.

Macquarie Online Banking

To pause a payment agreement:

  1. Select the Pay icon from the side menu, or first click on the icon in the top left-hand corner to display the side menu
  2. Click on Payment Agreements
  3. Select the payment agreement you want to review. Click Pause agreement
  4. You will see a confirmation page, please read the content carefully before you pause the payment agreement
  5. Once you see the success page, your Payment agreement is paused. Click Done
  6. The agreement will appear with a pause status on your list of payment agreements. 

You can resume your payment agreement at any time by selecting the agreement you would like to resume and clicking Resume payment agreement.

Cancel a payment agreement

You can cancel your payment agreement at any time via the Macquarie Mobile Banking app or Macquarie Online Banking. Before you cancel a payment agreement, you should check your contractual obligations with the business or merchant, and verify whether you are still required to pay them.

Macquarie Mobile Banking app

  1. Select the Pay icon from the home screen.
  2. Click on Payment Agreements. 
  3. Select the agreement you want to cancel. Click Cancel agreement
  4. You will see a confirmation page, please read the content carefully before you cancel the agreement.
  5. Once you see the success page, your agreement is cancelled. Click Done
  6. The agreement will appear with a cancelled status on your list of payment agreements. 

Macquarie Online Banking

  1. Select the Pay icon from the side menu, or first click on the icon in the top left-hand corner to display the side menu.
  2. Click on Payment Agreements. 
  3. Select the agreement you want to cancel. Click Cancel agreement
  4. You will see a confirmation page, please read the content carefully before you cancel the agreement.
  5. Once you see the success page, your agreement is cancelled. Click Done.
  6. The agreement will appear with a cancelled status on your list of payment agreements.

Payment agreements for closed accounts

If you close your account using the Macquarie Mobile Banking app or Macquarie Online Banking:

  • you will need to ensure that you have amended or cancelled any payment agreements that you have in place with the business or merchant
  • your PayID will no longer be registered to the account. You’ll be able to use your details to link to a different account. Any mandates linked to your PayID will need to be amended otherwise they will be automatically be cancelled.

If you close your account another way, the payment agreements will automatically be cancelled.
