ATM withdrawal limits and fees

Macquarie customers can withdraw cash from more than 24,000 ATMs across Australia. We will also pay for any fees customers may be charged when withdrawing cash from ATMs in Australia with their Macquarie debit card^{^}.

Macquarie customers can also make cash withdrawals at the point of sale with their Macquarie debit cards from more than 3,000 retail outlets across Australia, including at popular stores like Woolworths, Big W, BP, Caltex and participating IGA stores.

^{^}We don’t charge fees to use ATMs overseas, however clients may be charged a fee by international ATM operators.

You can withdraw up to $2,000 AUD daily at any ATM from a Macquarie Transaction or Offset Account with a Macquarie Debit Mastercard. This includes withdrawals at domestic and international ATMs.

You're unable to change the daily ATM withdrawal limit for a Macquarie Debit Mastercard.

We provide a refund on fees incurred at all ATMs in Australia. When prompted, you should select Macquarie Debit or Debit Mastercard where available, followed by account selection (SAV/CHQ/CR).

Please note: Macquarie Debit cards cannot be used at Newcastle Permanent and Heritage Bank ATMs. We are working on a solution for this.
