Your client can request to merge multiple loan splits within their home loan facility.
To be eligible for a merge:
- each home loan account needs to be on a variable interest rate, and
- the following attributes need to match:
- loan purpose (e.g. owner occupied, investment or personal use)
- repayment types (e.g. principal and interest or interest only)
- for interest only splits, the term (e.g. 1 year) and expiry dates.
