How to establish data feeds

Macquarie Online Trading offers two options for establishing data feeds:

Adviser level

You can set up a data feed using ESI (External Systems Interface). This lets you access a data feed for all accounts you’re authorised on (including MOT, CMA, Term Deposit and Wrap). When using this method, all new accounts you open will automatically be included in the data sent to your data feed provider.

To set up this type of data feed, you’ll need to retrieve an ESI code in Adviser Online and set up the data feed with your external data feed provider.

Account level

You also have the option of setting up a data feed at an individual account level. For this type of data feed, each provider may have differing requirements.

Below are the steps on how to set up a data feed with each of them.

XPlan

The primary adviser needs to email support@trading.macquarie.com from their registered email address with their Macquarie ID requesting activation for Xplan data feeds. This will apply to all existing and new accounts set up under this adviser’s code.

Class Super

For each account you would like a data feed for, the account holders need to complete a Macquarie Online Trading Third Party Authority form. For help on completing the Third Party Authority form, your client can visit Adviser authorisation. This step needs to be followed for each new account.

Adviser Logic

The primary adviser needs to email support@trading.macquarie.com from their registered email address with their Macquarie ID requesting activation for Adviser Logic data feeds. For each new account, after this has been established, an email needs to be sent to support@trading.macquarie.com requesting the new account number be added to your data feed.

Ccube Datafeed

A signed request from the licensee on company letterhead needs to be emailed to support@trading.macquarie.com for the adviser requesting a Ccube data feed be established. For each new account, after this has been established, an email needs to be sent to support@trading.macquarie.com requesting the new account number be added to your data feed.

COIN (Rubik Financial)

The primary adviser needs to email support@trading.macquarie.com from their registered email address with their Macquarie ID requesting activation for COIN data feeds. The Adviser will then receive an email with activation details. This will apply to all existing and new accounts set up under this adviser’s code.

Supercorp

The primary adviser needs to email support@trading.macquarie.com from their registered email address with their Macquarie ID requesting activation for Supercorp data feeds. For each new account, after this has been established, an email needs to be sent to support@trading.macquarie.com requesting the new account number be added to your data feed.

MCompass (Sovereign Financial)

The primary adviser needs to email support@trading.macquarie.com from their registered email address with their Macquarie ID requesting activation for MCompass data feeds. This will apply to all existing and new accounts set up under this adviser’s code.

Praemium

You first set up the Broker Link via Praemium’s website. This will map the client’s portfolio number at Praemium to your client’s Macquarie Online Trading account with us. Once this is done, you can then add Praemium’s email address (trades@praemium.com.au) as an additional contract note recipient on the Macquarie Online Trading website.

This is done by going to Clients and selecting Client Account Summaries. Select the relevant client’s account and click on the Add button at the Contract note destinations section. This needs to be done for each client.
