What's new
A faster and more efficient way for your clients to approve Adviser Initiated Payments (AIP) with Macquarie Authenticator
By registering for Macquarie Authenticator, your clients will now receive a push notification to approve AIP. When they approve or deny the payment, you’ll be notified via Adviser Online. If your client hasn’t registered for Macquarie Authenticator, you'll need to continue contacting them to authorise your payments.

In response to your feedback, we’ve uplifted and enhanced the Portfolio Valuation page
Our new Portfolio Valuation page is designed to help you access the most up-to-date Portfolio Valuation information. In response to your feedback, we’ve also delivered a number of new enhancements on this page. Our latest enhancements include:
- categorisation of investment types
- icons to clearly display the investment type and securities level
- descriptions of underlying securities (rather than a security code)
- dates of managed investment market values to provide greater accuracy
- column options, enabling you to filter information.
Giving you and your clients more digital options to submit documents
We’ve onboarded FuseSign as a new e-signature provider. To see what’s required to use FuseSign, please refer to this webpage. We also accept forms and documents using Adobe Sign, Annature, Conga, DocuSign, Iress Digital Signature and OneSpan.
You can read more about e-signatures in these Help Centre articles:
- What electronic signature providers can I use for your platform?
- What can’t I use an electronic signature for?
Helping you locate and manage your client’s payment information
We’ve uplifted the Scheduled Payments page for cash accounts so you can now:
- sort through multiple payments with our ‘sorting’ option on the Payment ID column
- print the list of scheduled payments for your client’s cash accounts as well as the individual payment details
- view more payment information such as who created the payment, the start and end date of the payment, the next payment date, the payment description and the payment approver (if applicable) when expanding the individual payment row. This is shown in the below screenshot:
Quickly access your recently searched clients’ account information in Adviser Online
We’ve updated the search bar in Adviser Online to help you access your clients’ account information in a quick and easy way. The search bar in Adviser Online will now populate your five most recently visited client accounts in the results. If you click on an account, you’ll then be directed to the account overview page.
What's next
Helping you prepare for our new digital ways of working
From 1 March 2023, we’ll no longer accept paper signed requests for withdrawals under $100,000 for Macquarie Cash, Vision Cash and Investment Wrap accounts. This includes requests using the Macquarie Withdrawal Form or the Recurring Payment Authority Form. In the lead-up to this change, we encourage you and your clients to utilise our digital functionality to make withdrawals. Visit Adviser Help Centre for more information on our digital functionality.
From next month you’ll be able to access the latest market data in Adviser Online
We’re introducing a new feature on Adviser Online which enables you to view the trends in individual securities and market indices. Through this new feature you’ll be able to view price overviews, historical prices, and other market information for all ASX securities and indices.
Monthly Tips & Tricks: Initiate withdrawals for pension accounts via Adviser Online
You can now submit withdrawals for pension accounts of up to $500,000 (per transaction) with client authorisation. Withdrawals can be submitted every three days through Adviser Online.
Withdrawal tip
If your client has downloaded and registered for Macquarie Authenticator, they can approve pension withdrawals via the Macquarie Authenticator app. This is a quicker and more efficient way to process withdrawals as your client can simply approve the payment via a push notification, rather than using the form.
You can follow these instructions to initiate a pension account withdrawal:
- Log in to Adviser Online
- Search for a client using the global search bar
- Click Account overview
- Click Make a payment
- Select the payment type and enter the payment amount
- Click Submit
- If your client has registered for Macquarie Authenticator, they’ll receive a push notification to approve the payment. If your client doesn’t have Authenticator installed, you can use print, sign and upload.

When will tax reports become available?
Tax reports are made available as they are completed. The timing of completion of a tax report is dependent on when we receive the tax information from product issuers.
Once your client’s tax report is available online, they’ll receive an email to let them know. For this reason, please make sure your client’s email address is kept up to date.
You can also generate a tax status report to confirm which of your client's tax reports have been released.
