Monthly feature: Protecting your business and your clients’ financial information with multi-factor authentication
We’re adding an extra level of security to Adviser Online. When you first log in, we’ll verify your identity, either via the Macquarie Authenticator app or by SMS.
To ensure a smooth transition, please make sure each staff member that needs access to Adviser Online:
is registered with their own Macquarie ID. Sharing of Macquarie IDs goes against the terms and conditions for Adviser Online registration.
has their correct mobile phone number showing in the ‘My profile’ page in Adviser Online so they can receive an SMS or an authentication request via the Macquarie Authenticator app.
To add or update their number, staff members need to call us on 1800 808 508, Monday to Friday, 8am–6pm (Sydney time).

We recommend setting up Macquarie Authenticator for multi-factor authentication. It’s our most secure digital verification and transaction approval tool. To read about the features and benefits, visit Macquarie Authenticator benefits.
If you already use Macquarie Authenticator for your personal Macquarie accounts, you can add your Adviser Online Macquarie ID to the same device. You can read more about this in Help Centre.

We’ve consolidated the three investor classes of the Separately Managed Account (SMA) Product Disclosure Statement (PDS) into one. Access the SMA PDS online here.Experience faster account applications and opening
We've updated our policy to simplify the documents required to open accounts for both registered and complying SMSFs. This reduces the likelihood of any follow ups required and time to open the account. We've also enhanced our CMA application form to cater for multiple classes of beneficiaries.Providing a streamlined online experience
We’re in the process of migrating capabilities from Wrap Online to Adviser Online. As part of this, we’re removing pages from Wrap Online where the content already exists in Adviser Online. In early August, we’ll be taking down the Wrap Online Resources tab as the content housed on this screen is already available in Adviser Online, our primary adviser portal.
Streamlining your tools and operations
You’ll soon have access to accurate portfolio data via third-party platforms
We’re enhancing our Macquarie Wrap ESI data feeds next month to include pending transactions and have partnered with IRESS to integrate this new data in Xplan. As a result, the holding balances in Xplan will be more accurate to reflect transactions that have not yet settled. We’ll also share these updates with other third-party platforms who integrate with Macquarie Wrap ESI data feeds.An easier way for you to get the support you need to better serve your clients
We’ve updated Adviser Help Centre, where you can find 200+ knowledge articles, step-by-step guides and supporting videos to help you and your clients complete everyday tasks. Our update includes:- simplified navigation and search to get what you need faster
- more comprehensive support articles, which you can read in fewer clicks
- a new layout that makes it easier to scan through an article; and
- the ability to provide quick feedback on whether an article was useful.
Account-level performance reporting is coming soon
We’re launching a new Performance module in Adviser Online that you should use instead of the Wrap Online Portfolio Review Report for account-level performance reporting. Adviser Online Performance contains two screens introducing new features, a refreshed user interface, headline statistics, embedded Help Centre articles to self-serve on commonly asked questions and uplifted print output:- a summary screen displaying performance figures, net capital flows, and growth, including a waterfall graph for an intuitive visualisation of the drivers of portfolio movements over custom reporting periods.
- a security detail screen displaying security-level performance, top movers by return and growth, click-through to view performance of underlying SMA holdings and the ability to hide securities with zero balance at close of period.
