  • Request Centre uplifts
    This month, we’re improving your Request Centre experience by enhancing visibility and usability. Updates include:
    • re-working the category and sub-category options for requests and adding new request types
    • introducing request options for adviser maintenance and third-party authorities
    • new request statuses, including the introduction of sub-statuses to improve visibility on progress of your request.
  • Elevating your reporting experience
    • Richer reporting available on Adviser Online: We’re continually uplifting and migrating capabilities from Wrap Online to Adviser Online .This includes replacing PDF reports on Wrap Online with interactive modules on Adviser Online that can be exported to PDF/CSV. This new functionality allows you to dive deeper into your client reporting through a more intuitive and interactive experience. Click here for a refresher on reporting locations in Adviser Online.
    • More tailored report packs: Our new ‘Sorting’ feature on Report Builder allows you to tailor the order of reports within the pack so you can drive effective conversations with your clients.
  • Streamlined Adviser Tools search experience to help you get the information you need faster. All request forms are now:
    • categorised by product type and customer journey (i.e. making a withdrawal)
    • accessible in a single page view
    • consolidated and simplified, removing any redundant resources.
  • Faster pension account openings: When we receive funds to start a pension for your client, and the amount received varies by less than 10% from the amount in the pension application, we'll start the pension straight away. Previously, we only allowed a 5% variation from the amount in the pension application.
    • We've made this change to improve serviceability and reduce account opening times. If a pension needs to be refreshed because further funds have been received in the account, we'll process that refresh without the need for your client's signature.
  • Efficient live chat experience
    • Connect with a live chat specialist who can best support you by selecting the pre-chat form option closest to your enquiry.
    • We’ve improved the live chat transcript download reminder to ensure you don’t miss the download option before exiting the live chat session.
    • Soon, you'll have the ability to enable browser notifications, ensuring you never miss a message from a consultant during an active live chat.
  • Simplifying our digital application offering by ceasing to accept new applications for partnership entity types for IDPS. This change aligns the offering for our cash and wrap products, with digital exemptions for a paper application considered on a case-by-case basis.

Greater protection for you and your clients

You and your team have access to a stable and secure platform underpinned by the security and risk commitment of a global investment group.

  • Faster and smoother transaction approvals: Help to keep your clients safe by ensuring they’re set up with Macquarie Authenticator. To help with this, we’ve developed this quick refresher on the Macquarie Authenticator set-up. You may not be able to initiate a payment request in Adviser Online if your client hasn’t registered for the Macquarie Authenticator app and completed the training simulation.
  • Enhanced fraud detection capabilities for payments made via adviser-initiated payments for cash accounts in Adviser Online.
  • Confirmation of Payee will be rolled out for Cash Accounts. From 1 May, your clients’ account details can be shared with other banks for payment security. This is a new industry wide security feature that uses industry data to help a client validate bank account details, identify false details or avoid mistaken payments when making a payment to an external account.

Our investment choices allow you to design a portfolio to meet each client’s investment objectives and adapt as their needs evolve.

  • We’ve added 15 managed funds, 23 separately managed accounts and nine fund-like securities to our Macquarie Wrap investment menus. Visit our Investment Menu update to see the latest additions to our Macquarie Wrap IDPS and Super menus.
