A complete digital platform

We’re connecting you with technology that allows you to achieve efficiency for you and your clients. 

  • Fully digitised super to pension switches (does not apply to Macquarie Vision and Premium Portfolio Service accounts) By the end of September, you’ll need to use the digital super and pension switch form when switching clients from a super account to a new pension account or vice versa. The digital form is much more efficient than paper forms and provides a seamless experience with fewer input errors and shorter processing times. We’ll continue to accept paper switch requests until Friday 27 September. From Monday 30 September, paper switch requests will be accepted for the following scenarios only:
    • switching from super to an existing pension account using the Pension Update form
    • switching from pension to an existing super account using the Pension to Super Switch form
  • Term deposit maturity elections – We're uplifting the Wrap term deposit maturity election wizard and migrating it to Adviser Online. From mid-September, the new wizard will provide a better digital experience when viewing upcoming Wrap term deposit maturities and updating maturity instructions. Improvements we’ve made include:
    • an uplifted wizard interface that will be easier for you to use and navigate, which will give you a much better experience when updating maturity elections
    • a more streamlined experience as you’ll no longer need to navigate between Adviser Online and Wrap Online to view and action a term deposit maturity election.
    • improved tracking as you’ll be able to see the history of maturity instruction updates in Request Centre
    • one consolidated Term Deposit Help Centre article replacing multiple articles, with quick access directly from the new wizard.
  • Adviser Online reporting – We’ve continued to uplift the Adviser Online Performance reporting and Report Builder modules throughout July and August:
    • Enhanced Performance summary view:  in mid-July we expanded and restructured the Performance summary page and corresponding Report Builder performance reports to provide a more granular breakdown of capital inflows and outflows, and income and expenses. We did this based on user feedback requesting a further breakdown of the summary values. In parallel, we also uplifted Report Builder to automatically include a contents page when a pack contains more than two reports to improve usability.
    • Additional performance graphs​: in late July we built on the enhanced Performance summary categories by introducing two additional graphs to the Performance page to complement the existing portfolio movement waterfall graph: (1) a capital inflows vs outflows, and (2) income vs expenses graphs. These new graphs will make it easier to visualise the drivers of portfolio movement that impact performance over key time intervals (e.g., by month, quarter, year etc.). ​
    • Click-through to underlying transactions: in late August we’ve enabled click-through from key summary values to the underlying transactions for greater transparency into the individual transactions that make up the cumulative category value (e.g., view all individual dividends and distributions that make up investment income). On-screen transaction data can be sorted and downloaded into a .csv file for offline analysis.​

Greater protection for you and your clients

You and your team have access to a stable and secure platform underpinned by the security and risk commitment of a global investment group.

  • As part of the ongoing digitisation of our platform and further security enhancements, all new features in Adviser Online will integrate with the Macquarie Authenticator app only. SMS codes and paper requests and approvals will gradually be replaced with digital approvals via Authenticator.
  • You now have access to a new screen in Adviser Online that shows the Authenticator download status for all your clients in one view. This will help you prepare your clients for the use of Authenticator

Our investment choices allow you to design a portfolio to meet each client’s investment objectives and adapt as their needs evolve.

  • We've added 13 Managed Funds and 8 Fund-like securities to our Macquarie Wrap IDPS and Super investment menus. Visit our Investment Menu update to see what we’ve added.

  • Reminder: Removal of cheque services from November 2024
    From November 2024, cheque services will no longer be available. Please ensure you plan ahead by speaking with clients who are still using cheque services for deposits/withdrawals.
    Our support page 'Changes to cash and cheque services' has key information and resources to help you and your clients with this change.
  • Tax reports: We continue to send out your clients’ tax reports in tranches. Some information is provided by third party product issuers. We finalise your clients’ reports as quickly as possible after we’ve received the required information from these external providers.
