Processing a Medicare rebate using your Macquarie debit card is not currently available.
When you pay at the doctor’s office, ask if they can make an electronic claim for you. If they can, they’ll do it on the spot. We recommend registering your bank account details directly with Medicare or MyGov to receive your rebates. You can use your Macquarie Transaction Account details for electronic claims.
If you can’t claim at the doctor’s office, you can submit a Medicare claim online.
