What are the requirements for switching from a Basic Home Loan to an Offset Home Loan?

Please note, to switch from a Basic Home Loan to an Offset Home Loan:

  • all borrowers must be living in Australia and have a current Australian residential address, and
  • all borrower must be considered an Australian resident for tax purposes, and
  • borrowers must not be a company or trust, and
  • at least one borrower has opened a transaction account in Macquarie Online banking, using the same Macquarie IDs that their home loan is linked to.
