What does the accreditation process involve?

To become an accredited home loan broker with Macquarie, please speak to your aggregator to access our current accreditation application form.  As part of the accreditation process, you’ll need to:

  • demonstrate that you have the relevant experience
  • hold a current membership with an industry body (e.g. MFAA, FBAA)
  • supply a copy of a current credit check and police check; and
  • complete a broker accreditation online training module.

You’ll receive confirmation directly from Macquarie once we have finalised our review of your application and all required supporting documentation.

To maintain your accreditation with Macquarie, you’ll be required to adhere to the Macquarie Broker Code of Conduct.

How do I transfer my accreditation to another aggregator?

If you wish to transfer your accreditation to another aggregator, you’ll be required to complete a short Attestation Form to confirm whether there have been any changes to your circumstances (e.g. changes to your credit history or criminal record history). Please speak to your aggregator to access our current form.

How do I update my contact details?

If you need to update your contact or business details, please ask your aggregator to send an email to the Macquarie accreditations team with your updated details.
