There are multiple ways you can update your client’s cash or Wrap account contact details:
- Your client can call us on 1800 806 310 . We’ll identify them over the phone and then update their details
- Your client can also update their contact details (except for their mobile number) online by logging into Macquarie Online Banking. Your client can update their mobile number by calling us as outlined above
- There is also the option to upload a completed Change of Account Details form to Request Centre. Please note that we’ll contact your client to validate the change prior to processing the request. You can find the Change of Account Details forms in Adviser Tools by searching for ‘change of account details’ and selecting the appropriate form. Please note the preferred method to change your client’s details is through Macquarie Online Banking or by calling us.
If your client uses Macquarie Wrap you can also update their details through Adviser Online. Please note that you can’t update your client’s cash account details via this method even if they hold a Macquarie Wrap account.
- Log in to Adviser Online
- Select Clients from the menu under the Macquarie icon and click Wrap clients & accounts
- Select your client from the client list
- Click Update client details
- Select the appropriate field
- Modify the details and authorise the change.
Please note that if your client holds a Macquarie Trading or Macquarie Investment (Non-Custodial) account on the Macquarie Vision platform, we require a client signed request to update their mailing address (this is a CHESS requirement).
Update client name to married name
To update your client’s name due to marriage, please provide:
- a copy of the marriage certificate issued by the Births, Deaths and Marriage office
- a letter displaying the new and old signature for the client if there has been any change.
Mobile number
Client mobile numbers are an important part of online security measures used to verify the client and verify transactions on their account. Because of this, we require your client to call us directly to update their mobile number.
Please note clients can’t update their mobile online.
