The Consumer Data Right (CDR) allows eligible customers to access their consumer data and share it with accredited third parties. This is also called Open Banking.
An important part of CDR is making sure that your account notifications are set up in a way that suits you. As a default, all your notification preferences for CDR are set to ‘active’, which means you’ll receive real-time updates of the data being shared with your chosen third parties.
If you don’t want to receive real-time updates, you can choose to manage your notifications online. To manage your notifications for CDR:
- Log in to Macquarie Business Online
- Select the profile icon in the right-hand corner of your screen
- Select Notification Preferences from the drop-down menu.
Here you’ll see a list of your open accounts with each of their current notification preferences. To view the notification preferences for a closed account, you need to select the ‘Closed accounts’ tab. On this screen you can turn off all non-mandatory CDR notifications at the account level.
If you want to manage your account notification preferences by notification type, select Manage in the Actions section.
Once you select Manage, you’ll be presented with a list of all notification preferences. All preferences for non-mandatory notifications can be switched on or off.
It’s important to note that if there are mandatory notifications, we’ll still share these with you regardless of the notification preferences you’ve set on your account(s). Make sure you keep your email address up to date, because this is how we’ll send you CDR notifications (mandatory and non-mandatory).
