What your clients receive

Your client will receive a real time push notification when you or a third party process a transaction for your client on their CMA. They’ll receive either an SMS or, if they have the Macquarie Mobile Banking app, a push notification. This is part of our continued investment in providing clients with a real-time and secure platform.

Opting out of notifications

Your clients may want to disable push notifications. If they have the Macquarie Mobile Banking app, they can opt out of CMA notifications via the app settings. The Macquarie Mobile Banking app can be downloaded from Google Play and the App Store.

Please note there may be up to a 48-hour delay between their request to stop push notifications and the feature being turned off.

In the Macquarie Mobile Banking app

  1. Select the menu  icon in the icon bar from the bottom right corner
  2. Select Settings
  3. Toggle off Receive push notifications.

If your client hasn’t downloaded the Macquarie Mobile Banking app, they’ll receive an SMS notification. We suggest encouraging clients who don’t want to receive the SMS to download the app. Clients can manage their notifications via the settings as outlined above.

In Macquarie Online Banking

If your client can’t use Macquarie Mobile Banking, they can log in to their Macquarie Online Banking account to opt out by following the steps below:

  1. Select the settings  icon from the side menu, or first click on the  icon in the top left-hand corner to display the side menu
  2. Select Notifications
  3. Toggle off the Third party payments transaction type.
