Levels of authority

You can complete different actions on your client’s Macquarie Cash Management Accelerator Account (Accelerator) based on the level of authority you have.

Limited Funds Transfer Authority (LFTA)

This level of authority is the default level of authority. When your client opens their account, the primary dealer/adviser automatically gets this authority. It gives you the ability to:

  • transfer funds between your client’s Accelerator and their nominated CMA file through bulk transacting
  • transfer to your client’s nominated CMA using AIP without a secure code.

General Withdrawal

If you have this level of authority, you can transfer funds from your client’s nominated CMA to their Accelerator without having LFTA.

For more information about transfers and authority levels, please see Transfer funds to and from Cash Management Accelerator account.
