When are electronic signatures acceptable for Macquarie home loan documents?

Electronic signatures are typically accepted for pre-settlement forms and for a substitution of security request.

Pre-settlement forms

We can accept electronic signatures on all our pre-settlement forms, as long as the platform used generates a digital receipt/audit certificate, which you’ll need to provide along with the electronically signed document.

Substitution of security request

Once our team have prepared the application, the Variation Acceptance form is sent via DocuSign to your customer, which they can sign electronically. However, the original signed mortgage documents are required to be returned to our panel solicitor via post and must be received by the solicitor before settlement can be booked in.
