Our Macquarie DEFT Payments system collects and processes payments, consolidates all transactions and then reconciles them with your account management software. So you have a permanent record of every transaction, and a very easy way to track payments.

Our Macquarie DEFT Payments system integrates with most leading business management software, and it’s available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, so your clients can pay you any time of the day or night, in a whole range of ways including:

  • online or via your smart phone with all major credit cards 
  • by phone 
  • by direct debit 
  • via BPAY® from a cheque or savings account 
  • at Australia Post using cash, cheque or EFTPOS 
  • using a locked bag for mail payments by cheque.

Use DEFT mobile to make payments anywhere, anytime

A mobile optimised version of DEFT is now available on smart phones and other mobile devices, giving your payers secure, convenient access to making payments anywhere, any time.
By registering online with DEFT, payers on smart phones and other mobile devices can:

  • make credit card or direct debit payments
  • pay now or schedule future dated or recurring payments
  • view, change or delete future dated or recurring payments
  • view payment history and print receipts
  • click to call or email DEFT support.

Payers can also make one-off payments without registering.

When payers visit deft.com.au, their smart phone or mobile device should automatically switch to the mobile optimised version of DEFT. Alternatively payers can access the mobile site from the full website at deft.com.au.
