Macquarie Group Limited (MQG)
The Macquarie Group Limited Annual Report is produced and released each year in conjunction with the result for the year ending 31 March. From 2012 the report consists of two documents – the Annual Review and the Annual Financial Report.
The Annual Financial Report contains Macquarie's statutory financial statements along with the Corporate Governance Statement, the Risk Management Report and the Remuneration Report which is in the Directors' Report.
The Annual Review (formerly, Shareholder Review) provides shareholders with an update of operations for the year ending 31 March. It was first produced for the year ended 31 March 2008.
Macquarie also produces two interim publications – the Interim Report and the Interim Update. The Interim Report is released online each year and contains Macquarie's statutory financial statements for the half year ending 30 September. The Interim Update provides shareholders with an update of operations for the half year ending 30 September.
Prior to the restructure of Macquarie Group in November 2007, the primary annual and interim reports for the Group were issued by the listed entity, Macquarie Bank Limited. The Annual Report consisted of two documents – the Annual Review (incorporating the Concise Report) and the Financial Report. The Annual Review provided an overview of the Group's operations and a summary of the financial statements. The Financial Report contained the Risk Management Report and statutory financial statements.
