Graduates and summer interns

Every year we offer graduates and undergraduates from a variety of tertiary disciplines the chance to work in a range of roles across many of our business groups and support areas. The quality of our people underpins our reputation as a market leader in a broad spectrum of financial and investment markets. Graduate program
Summer internship program

As part of our graduate program you’ll join a specific group and be an integral member of a team from the start. You will participate in a structured induction, training and networking program and gain hands-on experience. The diversity of our business coupled with our commitment to career development gives you the opportunity to find your niche and excel. Our graduate program typically starts in February each year.

Corporate and Asset Finance Group (Sydney)
Corporate Operations Group - Human Resources Division (Sydney)
Financial Management Group - Finance and Group Treasury Divisions (Sydney)
Macquarie Capital (Melbourne, Perth and Sydney)
Macquarie Funds Group (Sydney)
Risk Management Group (Sydney).

We strongly advise you research our diverse business groups before submitting an application as you are required to specify your preferred business group on the application form.

2014 Australian Graduate program:

Applications open Monday 11 March 2013 and close Tuesday 9 April 2013, 12pm AEST.

Macquarie’s summer internship program is an exciting opportunity to gain exposure to the financial services sector. You will work full-time over the summer break as part of a team gaining valuable experience from day one. The program typically runs between November and February and will give you an insight into various career opportunities at Macquarie. You will have the chance to demonstrate your potential and have an advantage when applying for graduate positions.
