  • Download your conversations with a live chat consultant - coming soon!
    Live chat in Adviser Online is now the default contact option for you to chat with a consultant about your clients' accounts and requests. In the coming weeks, we're enhancing live chat so you can:
    • Maintain visibility of your conversation - by keeping the full conversation on screen when the chat ends (either by you or by us)
    • Download a transcript - choose to save a copy of the entire conversation for future reference to important information.

  • Faster turnaround times for super withdrawals and rollovers
    We’re releasing our new digital Adviser Initiated Payment form for super clients who want to withdraw an amount under $500k, roll over any amount from their super account, or request an early release of their super under $500k. Read more via our Help Centre article ‘Adviser Initiated Super Payments'.

  • An easy-to-use and flexible Separately Managed Account (SMA) experience
    We’ve enhanced your digital experience by uplifting and migrating the capability to customise SMAs in Adviser Online. By doing this, we’re making it easier for you to:
    • exclude securities and/or sectors from your client's SMA
    • access history of previous customisations.

    We’re also looking forward to giving you these benefits for SMA income elections next month, in addition to enhancing the SMA asset transfer functionality between your client's SMA and wrap accounts.

  • Seamless generation of report packs with Report Builder in Adviser Online
    Create consolidated packs of multiple reports for a single account in one centralised location which can be saved in the future. Each account will also have two preloaded report pack templates for EOFY and quarterly reporting purposes, to simplify the way your business provides reports. As we introduce new reports to Adviser Online, these will be made available in Report Builder, with Performance Reporting next to be added. 

  • Simple and fast account opening for our Cash Management solutions
    We’ve simplified the collection of beneficiaries making it faster and easier for you to complete trust applications, with less manual input. We’re also simplifying the collection and verification process of beneficial owners in complex structures across all of our Cash Management Account (CMA) solutions and uplifting the Cash Management Account Accelerator application form so you can quickly open accounts for your clients.

  • Helping your clients manage their CMA contact details online
    Soon, your clients can update their CMA contact details, such as their email or mailing address, via Macquarie Online.

  • Enhanced existing tools and resources in Adviser Online
    This month, we’ve made some improvements to our:
    • consistency: by updating date range filters on Cash Accounts
    • transparency: with the Performance Reporting summary page now reflecting a net change in other assets of a user’s investment, super or pension account during a selected period
    • support: by publishing a Help Centre article for intermediaries when making a pension payment
    • usability: by reducing the amount of messages a new user receives upon their first login, so they have a more straightforward experience as a new user.

  • Giving your clients peace of mind with call verification via Macquarie Authenticator
    Fraudsters and scammers may attempt to compromise your clients’ personal and financial information by pretending to be their bank or other trusted company. They may also ring Macquarie pretending to be your client to gain access to their accounts. To better protect your client in these scenarios, we’ve released a new security feature on Macquarie Authenticator to help us and your clients verify who we're speaking with over the phone. At the start of any call with Macquarie, clients will receive a push notification directing them to Macquarie Authenticator. They’ll then be able to complete their verification instantly through the app. If the fraudster/scammer is pretending to be the client, they'll be unable to verify their legitimacy as they won't have access to Macquarie Authenticator, and if they've called us, we'll know to escalate that call. This is another great reason for your clients to download the Macquarie Authenticator app and boost their security today.

  • Protecting you from cyber-attacks with enhanced detection of unusual or suspicious activity in Adviser Online   
    We recently implemented BioCatch in Adviser Online as an additional layer of security to protect you and your clients. This means we can now build a unique profile for each user and better detect unusual or suspicious activities. This is important to assess whether a user is genuine, or whether a login is under attack by one or a combination of cyber-threats.

  • Safe, quick and convenient banking with digital payments
    As a digital bank, we’re transitioning to completely digital payments and the next step in that evolution is phasing out cheques and cash across all our banking and wealth management products, including super and pension accounts. From November 2024, all payments into and out of a client’s Macquarie account will need to be made digitally. To help prepare you and your clients for this change, we recommend reading our support page ‘Changes to cash and cheque services’ where you can access key information and resources.
    This would be a great time to prompt your clients to update their bank account details online with the share registries to ensure they receive dividends by direct credit.
